A challenging distance, in aid of helping those with life-changing injuries

Managing Director James Clark is raising money for our Elite Foundation charity by pledging to run 100km during the month of November.

Fresh from his recent challenge of climbing Ben Nevis, James has decided to use the next 30 days to take on the 100k running odyssey. And just like with the Ben Nevis challenge, the 100k run will be in aid of our chosen charity P.A.U.L For ‘Brain Recovery’.

James will be swapping his boiler suit for a P.E kit as he takes on another challenge for the ‘Elite Foundation’. The foundation was established last year as part of Cottingham-based heating, plumbing, electrical, and renewables company Elite Services Group to raise money for the community and good causes.

The run will be split into 10K sections and begin on 5th November and James hopes to raise funds and awareness for the charity P.A.U.L for ‘Brain Recovery’. The charity exists to make life easier after brain injury by providing guidance and support to empower all affected by ABI. The campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of brain injury.

We have set up the Elite Foundation because our business is based in the local community and we all wanted to give something back
— James Clark, Elite Services Group Managing Director

Earlier in the year James and the rest of the team at Elite based in Cottingham, completed the Dalby Forest night run and whilst the pandemic has caused a delay in additional events, James is now pleased to be starting off the fundraising once more.

“It’s a very worthy cause and all of us at Elite Services Group are passionate about raising awareness and funds the help P.A.U.L for ‘Brain Recovery’ through events like the night run, Ben Nevis, and by this new challenge of running 100k in 30 days.”

“We have set up the Elite Foundation because our business is based in the local community and we all wanted to give something back”, said James. James is hoping for dry weather this month and has planned to log his runs on Strave, and also live on the Elite Serves Group Facebook page.”
