1.     Scope of our Privacy Policy

This policy concerns our website www.elitesg.co.uk and any associated content or web property associated with our general trade and transactions

2.     Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy.

We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR] 2018).

We have fully updated our privacy policy, consent process and internal procedures to meet the above legislation. We have contacted our related suppliers and service providers wherever practicable to ensure they have also implemented data policies that comply with the current legislation (GDPR).

We take your consent seriously. When you give consent to for us to store and use your data you will get a choice of how we contact you. You can give consent to be contacted by either or email, phone/text or targeted digital advertising.

We collect personal information from contact forms on our website.

 

 4. What data do we collect from you?

 

a. Personally Identifying Information.

 

We collect personal contact information such as your name, address, company name and address, contact details including your e-mail address and telephone number.

 

b. Account Information.

This includes shipping and billing information. We may also record any preferences you have, such as products regularly ordered and terms of payment. With this information, we can fulfil your orders and better provide you with personalised services.

 

c. Transactions

We maintain records about the products and services you have requested and/or been supplied. Information about transactions is maintained in our databases as is information for transactions which are done online, by telephone, etc. We do not receive or store retail customers debit/credit card details from any transactions.

 

d. Email correspondence

Your e-mail address is used to distribute information about us and market our products and services as mentioned below. It is also used to raise and respond to issues and inquiries of all types and to keep in contact with you generally.

 

e. Online Registrations and Services via website.

The minimum information we need to register a user is an email address. We may ask further questions for different services. Unless stated, all registration questions are compulsory.

 

We may also ask voluntary questions during registration for certain services, so we can understand our users. We can then personalise services for our users.

 

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. When you submit your data it is transmitted and stored in a third party secure system. We have verification from the system vendor that their data handling standards meet with all EU data legislation including the GDPR.

When you notify us you wish us to remove your personal information we will notify our third party provider and your information will be deleted from their database

We use your personal information to market our services to you by phone ,email (including Mail Chimp CRM and Survey Monkey) Royal Mail and LinkedIn messaging and other forms of social media and digital advertising.

We have verified our vendors are compliant with all EU data law including the GDPR

We also use your personal information to manage any agreements between us and to provide the goods or services ordered.

We may also need to provide it to other firms who provide us with services such as IT management firms to keep our systems running. We do not share or sell your information with other services/businesses.

We may use your contact details to inform you of any changes to our terms and conditions including to this Privacy Policy.

We share your data with those internal and external parties we refer to above and for the purposes set out.

Where we share your personal data with others who provide us with services for our business, or,

we will make it a requirement that they have in place appropriate security measures to protect your personal data.

Occasionally, we may be required by law enforcement, government contract administrators, and/or judicial authorities to provide personally identifiable information to the appropriate governmental or regulatory authorities under applicable law or regulation.

We will disclose personally identifiable information upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or if required to co-operate with law enforcement investigations. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful to the extent permitted by law.

11. Retention and Security of your personal data

We may remove information when it becomes out of date or inaccurate or when properly requested by you (subject to any legal duty we may have to preserve it). We destroy it using secure or certified methods of destruction when no longer needed.

You have a right to access your personal data by contacting us as shown below. We may charge you £10 before we send it to you.

You can correct your personally identifiable information yourself by contacting us with a request for your change.

You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, because we keep track of certain transaction information, such as past purchases, and other similar information, for legal compliance purposes (including company bookkeeping), we may not be able to delete certain information. If information we hold appears to be inaccurate we will block its use until the position is verified to our satisfaction.
